3D Printed Prototypes in Tbilisi

An idea needs to be held in your hands. A prototype printed overnight answers the questions CAD can’t: does it sit well in the hand, does the fit close, how does it look for real. A flaw found on a 40 ₾ prototype saves hundreds on a mold or production run.

We work from your STL or STEP files: upload in the evening — the part is usually ready the next day.

How prototype work is set up

  • Speed: simple parts in 24 hours, complex or large ones in 2–3 days.
  • Iterations: print, test, fix the model — the next version is ready in a day again. Repeat iterations are priced by weight, with no setup fee repeated.
  • Fidelity: we print your file as-is; fits and threads come out usable for testing assemblies.
  • Confidentiality: client files are never published and are stored for 30 days at most.

Presentation mockups — up to 4 colors

For showing an investor or a client, a mockup can be printed in color: the AMS on our Bambu Lab P2S lays down up to 4 colors in a single pass — logo, zones and labels right in the plastic, no painting. Such a mockup reads as a product, not a blank.

Material for the task

Shape and ergonomics are checked in PLA — the most precise and cheapest option (0.10 ₾/g). Functional prototypes that will be loaded and turned are printed in PETG. And if the production part will be ABS, we prototype in ABS right away so the material behaves the same. Soft elements — seals, pads — are imitated with flexible TPU.

What we need from you

An STL or STEP file is enough — exactly as your CAD system exports it (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, Onshape). If fit tolerances matter, note them in the comment: we’ll advise what clearances to design in for FDM printing — usually 0.2–0.3 mm per side. We’ll sign an NDA on request — for startups that’s the norm, not the exception.

There is a next step after the prototype too: batches from 10 pieces are printed with total-weight discounts, and when you move to molding we’ll share contacts of proven manufacturers.

What a prototype costs

From 35 ₾. Total = weight × price per gram + printer time at 12 ₾/hour. A palm-sized part of 30–60 g comes to 35–55 ₾. Upload your STL to the calculator — price and timing appear instantly, no back-and-forth.
