Online 3D printing cost calculator
Upload your model file and within seconds you see the weight, print time and price. No request forms, no waiting for a reply: the calculator runs in your browser, and the file goes nowhere until you place an order.
It is the only public 3D printing calculator in Tbilisi with an automatic quote. Below is how it counts and what drives the final price.
3D printing cost calculator — get your price online
Upload an STL file — weight, time and cost are calculated instantly, right in your browser. Prices are in Georgian lari (₾): 1 ₾ is roughly $0.37 or €0.34. The file goes nowhere until you confirm.

Don’t have a 3D model?
The calculator prices only a ready file — until a model exists, we can’t quote the exact printing cost. But that’s solvable: we’ll help you find a ready model in open libraries for free, and if the right one doesn’t exist, our artist will model it from your photo or sketch for a separate fee. Modeling cost depends on complexity: we assess it and quote the price before any work starts.

How the calculator prices a print
- Material: part weight × price per gram. PLA and PETG — 0.12 ₾/g, ABS — 0.14, flexible TPU — 0.18, PLA-CF — 0.25.
- Print time: walls, infill and supports are estimated at different speeds, so a thin-walled phone case and a solid cube of the same weight cost differently — just like in a slicer.
- Printer time: 15 ₾ for the first hour, then 3.5 ₾ per hour plus electricity. A 10% reprint reserve is added to material and time — if a part comes out defective, you do not pay for it.
- Print setup — 5 ₾ per order. Minimum order — 35 ₾.
- Weight discounts: from 300 g in total the price per gram drops by 15%, from 1 kg — by 25%, from 3 kg — by 35%. The calculator tells you how many grams are left to the next tier.
What affects the final price
- Size: the “height” field scales the model; weight grows faster than size — a part twice as big weighs 4–8 times more.
- Infill: 15% is enough for toys and decor, 40–100% for load-bearing parts. Walls are always solid.
- Supports: the calculator finds overhangs steeper than 45° and adds their weight and time itself. Nothing for you to choose.
- Multicolor printing via AMS — +50% on material for color changes and purging.
- Quantity: more pieces bring you closer to a weight discount tier.
Which file you need
STL, 3MF or OBJ up to 100 MB. The mesh must be closed (“watertight”) — holes in the mesh make the weight wrong; before printing we run the file through mesh repair and warn you if something is off. Maximum size in one piece — 250 × 250 × 250 mm; larger objects are printed in parts.
No model? Take a ready one from the open libraries linked above the calculator, or send a photo — we help you find one or model it for a separate fee.
How accurate is the estimate: it is a guide
The calculator gives a guide by weight and time, not a final price. The final quote is made individually after we check the model: complex geometry, supports, thin walls, a material change and printer load can change the cost noticeably either way. Before printing we run the file through Bambu Studio and tell you the exact price before starting — you decide whether to print.
