3D scanning of parts in Tbilisi

We scan parts and objects to get an exact digital copy: for repair, manufacturing, quality control or printing. Scanning and processing are done by our engineer Alexander, the same person who then builds the CAD model and checks the fit on the printed part.

We work with objects, not buildings or rooms: from a coin-sized part to car assemblies.

What a scan gives you

A copy of a broken or worn part that is no longer sold.
A clean CAD model in STEP for machining or moulding.
A part that fits exactly: a mount, housing or adapter shaped to an existing assembly.
A deviation map: how far a finished part differs from the model.
A digital copy of a sculpture, toy or object to print at another size.

Equipment and software

Creality Raptor 3D scanner: accuracy down to 0.02 mm.
Geomagic Design X: CAD reconstruction from scans and deviation checks.
Fusion 360: parametric models, assemblies, drawings.
Printing on a Bambu Lab P2S in the same studio: the first sample checks the fit.

Examples

We scanned a Land Rover Defender chassis and designed a skid plate around it, which was then made from metal. We rebuilt a Varytec stage light ring and a Profoto flash housing from scans. All cases with photos are on the modelling page.

Good to know

Shiny, transparent and very dark surfaces get a washable matting spray before scanning.
The part has to be brought to our Tbilisi studio or sent by courier.
If you only need a printed copy of a simple part, measuring it with calipers is sometimes faster than scanning. We will tell you.

How much

The price is calculated individually based on the size and complexity of the part and what you need at the end: just the scan, a CAD model or a finished printed part. For reference, scanning, CAD and adding a logo to a small drum pedal part cost 75 ₾ and took an hour and a half. The quote is free.

Do you scan rooms and buildings?

No, we scan objects and parts, from small pieces to car assemblies. Buildings need different scanners.

What do I get after scanning?

A cleaned scan in STL or OBJ, and on request a CAD model in STEP that can be edited and sent to manufacturing.

Can you print a copy straight away?

Yes, in the same studio. We check the first piece for fit and adjust the model if needed.

3D printing with delivery across Georgia

We print in Tbilisi and deliver anywhere: Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Gori, Poti, Zugdidi, Telavi — 2–3 days, from 10 ₾. In Tbilisi a courier brings it next day, and pickup is free. Distance doesn’t change the printing price — the calculator quotes the same for the whole country.
